Emotional roller coaster, overcome it! - Multilevel Success

Negative people within your network marketing business

If you are starting out in the network marketing business or you have worked in it for a while, it can be difficult to deal with the so-called emotional roller coaster. This emotional roller coaster mainly revolves around  the opinions of others whose opinion you value.  When you just got started, the people you know are not into it, you, and sometimes they, are beginning to put doubt in your mind and your emotions go haywire.This is normal. We call it your emotional roller coaster. Overcome your emotipnal rollercoaster to bring your network marketing business to a higher level.

Let’s take a look at some examples. You’re excited about starting your own  network marketing business and want to share the opportunity with everyone you know.  Your parents, family, and friends should hear about it.

However, soon you’ll find out that not everyone you know is as enthused as you. In fact, people are not at all positive about it. You will meet people who do see the potential in network marketing and want to join or want to buy products or services from you. However, some people will feel that you are doing something illegal, or that you are scamming people or will even say that you are engaged in a pyramid  scheme

This last category of people aren’t the ones you’re looking for. You’re looking for the people who are open to an opportunity. It’s tempting to argue with these negative people and try to convince them that they’re wrong and that they should just start for their own or buy a service/product. However, this is counterproductive. If you’re going to convince them of anything, you’re going to have to convince them to do something. And that’s something you don’t want to do. 

Another tip is not to discuss about things directly with these people. Also, don’t spend too much of your network marketing business time on these people.

The best thing you can do is not to argue with them, but to understand them. Show  them that you understand them and have experienced the same thing. Then show them that you’ve found a solution and see things differently now. We call this the  Feel, Felt, Found  principle: “I understand how you feel, I felt exactly  the same, but this is what I found.”

So using this method will look something like: “I  understand exactly what you mean, I always thought network marketing was the same as a pyramid scheme, until, after researching, I found that it’s an internationally recognized sales system that’s been around for 60 years and has proven to work.”

If someone doesn’t believe you then, ask the person if they want to have a drink or ask about the weather, but don’t spend any more precious network marketing business time on that person.

How well you handle your emotional roller coaster depends solely on you. Your way of thinking will make the difference between winning and giving up!! You can do it with ease if you want it enough!!
